Rob's eyes were trained on the seemingly never-ending road ahead of him, but he could feel that he was being watched. His hand was resting casually atop the steering wheel, while his other nursed a large takeout coffee between his legs. He glanced over at his wife with a small laugh. "What?" he asked her, wondering why she had taken to just watching him like that. It was amusing, but slightly unnerving. "Have I got something hanging out of my nose?"
Ellie turned in her chair and reached over to brush her hand up his thigh. "No, I just missed you, baby. That's all," she purred.
"Oh yeah?" Rob laughed, glancing at her again. "How much did you miss me?"
"Loads," Ellie cooed as her fingers reached his hip. "You're so hot when you're determined. We're going to win this. I can feel it."
( Rob had to brace the half-full cup between his legs so he could wrap his fingers around her hand... )
